How I Can Help You
Pixels & People
I joined Multiweb Communications as the first employee in 1997 and have spent three decades developing solutions to meet customer needs. In the small company environment, I excelled at crafting designs and code, perfecting visuals, and engaging with stakeholders. I effectively presented concepts to customers and persuaded company leaders to embrace my vision. In my last position as Director of UX and Product Owner in a large company environment, I collaborated with multiple teams to coordinate product development. I thrive in both small and large settings and relish the challenges presented by all aspects of a project.Design & Development
Over the past three decades, I have delved deeply into both coding and design. Whether creating designs in Photoshop or building responsive and accessible web templates, I adeptly switch contexts between front-end and back-end development. This dual perspective significantly enhances my ability to direct development teams. The agile stories I write and the prototypes I create are informed by my coding experience, ensuring a balanced mix of aesthetics and feasibility. My goal is to maximize development bandwidth by crafting solutions that are both beautiful and achievable.Student & Teacher
While I bring extensive experience to the table, I readily acknowledge when there are things I don’t know. In a team environment with talented individuals, I actively seek ideas, feedback, and opinions from everyone on the team, filtering these insights through my personal experience to arrive at optimal solutions. A core aspect of my personality is being a lifelong learner, and I believe there is always an opportunity to grow. I value every voice and perspective when collaborating with a quality team.Technical Skills...

Since 2003, thousands of projects have been submitted to Adobe for MAX Award consideration and winners include industry titans like Yahoo, Pepsi, T-Mobile, Nike, NASA, BMW, and eBay. Only three companies have won two awards: Yahoo, Interone Worldwide GmbH and Multiweb Communications. I am honored to have my work with Multiweb be in such impressive company. Market-Leading SaaS
As the first employee of Multiweb Communications in 1997, I was an integral part of the development of market-leading SaaS solution CloudCME.
Recently acquired by healthcare software leader HealthStream, CloudCME offers hospitals and universities a complete solution to managing their Continuing Medical Education departments. A complex and very deep app, CloudCME ties together registration and eCommerce, activity catalogues, activity evaluations, physician transcripts, reporting, attendance recording and more into one solution.
From the earliest prototype days in the early 2000's to current redesigns, I have been part of all aspects of the project from branding to screen design to determining feature priority and more. I currently am the product owner of this product at HealthStream.
Mobile App Development
Providing access to commonly used functions while on-the-go was a goal for our CloudCME platform, so I developed an iOS and Android app to give users the ability to interact with the most used subset of functions on their phones.
Using the Cordova open-source framework, I built an app that directly integrates with the backend systems and lets users scan QR codes to record their attendance, view current event calendars and register for activities, complete any outstanding tasks or view their latest medical transcript. The app is currently in use with over 200,000 physicians and nurses and I have handled the entire process: design, programming, build processes and Apple/Google store publishing.
Personal Info & Interests
I currently reside in Sarasota, Florida and am married with two children. I enjoy backpacking, the outdoors, technology of all kinds, playing with cars (particularly EV's these days...), building and making all sorts of things with my 3D printers and laser cutter, collecting fun items like sunglasses/pens/pocket knives, and designing fancy playing cards. I have a lifelong attitude of learning and truly love exploring new topics and having new adventures.
